Presenting Papers

Each paper must be “covered” by one full-member rate registration in the name of one of the authors by
March 14, 2014.

When registering, please enter the paper ID(s) of the paper(s) you will cover with your non-student registration here.

One full registration can cover no more than 4 papers.

Any paper accepted into the technical program, but not presented on-site will be withdrawn from the official proceedings archived on IEEE Xplore.

I am an international (EU/non EU) participant, when do I need to pay VAT?

Conferences that take place in Italy are liable for Italian VAT as they are classed under VAT legislation as ‘services’ and therefore VAT is charged by the services provider (organizers of the conference).

VAT on registration fees will be charged only to an individual person not belonging to any company or (public) institution. Participants affiliated with (EU/nonEU) companies and/or public institutions do not have to pay VAT. Participants from EU institutions and/or companies are requested to provide the VAT code of their own affiliation to actually enjoy of this exemption.

Other Italian institutions and companies subjected to VAT-exemption policies will not be charged VAT provided that they can prove their specific VAT exemption status.

Policies

- The regular registration fee does not include tutorials
- The regular registration fee does not include the banquet
- You must be an IEEE/SPS Member at the time of registration to receive the IEEE/SPS Member discount. Please visit http://www.ieee.org/join for details
- Each attendee must register separately
- Registration payments must be received before the registration deadline for a certain discounted rate to be applied; if payment is not received before the deadline, the next higher rate will be actually applied
- Student registration will only be accepted after proof of your student status is sent to registration@icassp2014.org or faxed to +39 050 981264
- 1-day conference registration fees are not available
- No reduced or complimentary rates for speakers (contributed or invited), authors or committee members are available
- Conference sponsors are not permitted to use conference passes included in their own sponsorship packages or any additional conference passes purchased for the benefit of presenting authors

Cancelation Policy

Registration fees will be refunded only if cancellation is received in writing at cancellation@icassp2014.org before March 28, 2014. Cancellations will be subject to a cancellation fee of € 50.00 + VAT. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the above date.

Visa letter requests

Participants are requested to familiarise themselves with their own applicable visa requirements well in advance of the conference. Present worldwide security regulations result in generally in more stringent visa requirements and associated visa processing time.
The ICASSP 2014 organizers cannot intervene with Embassies or Consulates on behalf of any participant. However, if a personal invitation letter that confirms registration to the conference is needed, please send email to registration@icassp2014.org indicating details of the paper you are going to present at the conference, and providing the following information:

- full name
- complete mailing address
- date of birth
- passport number/country issued

Invitation letters will be sent by email and will be issued only after payment of registration fees.
Please request your invitation letter well in advance of your deadline to produce it.

If you require a hardcopy of the invitation letter sent to you by mail, a fee of € 15,00 is foreseen to cover mail expenses.
